First I must state; my head is larger than average. With a little modification it fits quite well. The shell is somewhat thin, but after testing out the impact resistance (putting the helmet on and banging my head on the wall a few times _see why I need a helmet:) _) it stands up, and provides quality resistance. The screws inside were a bit flimsy, but they did what I needed.
Only issue I really have with this helmet is; I wish the chin strap was a little longer. Fortunately the helmet is snug enough that the chinstrap is almost pointless. At this point I simply attach the chinstrap under my jaw.

I have been in the service for about a year and a half and had previously owned a combat version of this helmet, the style is perfect for military patches not to mention the tactical use one could get out of a helmet of this type. Ideal weight being that its not made out of the same exact material as the actual combat one makes this helmet very efficient and very useful in any environment.

this helmet can be the jealousy of many of your team mates....awesome construction, lightweight, very nice velcro....it can be small for big people but is very adjustable and you can attach almost averything to look more tacticool
