For the perfect Special Forces look, these are a must have. Though it is plastic, it is a very sturdy plastic that doesn't flex. I purchased it along with the FMA Nylon Dummy L3G24 Night Vision Goggle Mount and they are perfect together.

for only 13 dollar you get a good looking nvg mount.
it's cheap because it's made of plastic but it's made of a sturdy plastic! ( as is described on the product page).
the small hook that is included needs installation with some glue.
overall I think this is a steal. it makes your helmet look really cool for only a couple of dollars.
